Agriculture is in my blood! I grew up on a farm and farming has been part of our family for a long time. It is incredibly rewarding and a great way to spend time outdoors and with animals. In my opinion, there is no better way to raise children than like this. It only seemed natural to start-up my own business. My parents own and operate their own business, as well as all my 11 aunts and uncles. To me, it seems so strange to have a 9-5 job! It is rewarding to be your own boss and to be able to make your own decisions.
My biggest struggles have been creating the right network of forward-thinking, business-minded people to surround myself with. Jumping into a domain which I have been a few years removed from has been a steep learning curve, and always trying to make that right next investment can be challenging as well.
